Theocracy Watch

How can the asshollery of American Christians be encapsulated?

As always, this is a trick question. It can't! Ever! It knows no bounds! Fun quote:
The study, written by Mark Chancey of Southern Methodist University, says that the program teaches the Bible from a primarily conservative Protestant view. The council says its approach is constitutional. Just in case, it offers legal aid to districts that teach it. State Sen. Tommie Williams, one of the Georgia bill's authors, used the council's curriculum as a guide when drafting his proposal. "We simply have to teach 'This is what happened—make your own judgments'," he says.
We simply have to teach: this is what happened. Christ on a fucking stick.

Holy Shit. That is assholery that would be hard to comprehend, except it comes from Georgia - home of the new poll tax. It is embarassing to be Christian.

Can you imagine though being in that class and how much fun it could be. It would be awesome just to torture everyone else, particularly the teacher. See, the funny thing about conservative Christians is that they only read the parts about they gay people.
